Crawford Group is looking for an Editor to join our client’s team. The skilled writer/editor will work with a variety of marketing content that spans every touchpoint in the technology customer lifecycle. Will join a dynamic team that brings together a mix of backgrounds and disciplines to deliver informative content to drive engagement and lead generation.
Responsibilities:
Review and edit marketing and product content for collateral assets
Provide consistent delivery in grammatical and readability standards
Ensure content aligns to company style guide and brand voice guidelines
Collaborate with subject-matter experts as needed to refine content for target audiences
Adapt content to collateral style sheets and templates for direct conversion to PDF
Keep commitments by delivering exceptional work on-time while addressing all requirements and stakeholder input
Maintain a positive attitude and performance when faced with changing priorities and variables
Create engaging, human copy that delivers key messaging targets and adapt based on persona, segmentation, and vertical/industry
Requirements:
5-7 years of professional editing experience for technology marketing
Strong editing experience with technology content
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
Experience using Microsoft Word style sheets and templates
Clear understanding of tone and ability to adapt style based on message and audience
Outstanding writing and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or related field of study
Provide examples of past work related to this type of job description
Significant editing, proofing, and writing experience for technology marketing content
Energetic and self-motivated, with the desire and ability to collaborate with other internal departments
Organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Holistic thinker who can keep their eye on the big picture even when focused on details
Enthusiasm for being part of a highly productive and efficient creative team
Drive to see projects through to the end and deal with the adversities along the way
